Blackley Pipelines & Irrigation was engaged to deliver a full-service irrigation solution for a large-scale pivot project on a Northern Tasmanian property. From initial concept through to final commissioning, our team worked closely with the landholder to design and construct a system that met both the scale and performance needs of the operation.
The scope of work included:
- Design and installation of two pivot systems:
• One 9-span pivot
• One 8-span pivot - Supply and welding of 1.5 km of 280mm poly pipe
- Trenching and excavation for pipeline installation
- Execution of two under-road bores to allow pipeline crossing
- Supply and construction of three pump stations
- Installation of four end-suction pumps
- Full electrical works including mains, sub-mains, pump shed wiring, and variable speed drives
- System commissioning and performance testing
This project reflects our team’s ability to manage large, technically demanding irrigation builds – delivering reliable water supply infrastructure with practical, long-term outcomes for the client.
